PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENT OR BUSINESS?
12 Plus is an approved Education Improvement Organization (EIO) under the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. As one of the few Philadelphia-based approved organizations, 12 Plus has partnered with Friends of Education K-12 to help our supporters maximize the impact their donations.
AMPLIFY YOUR GIFT
The PA EITC program was established as way to issue state tax credits to individuals and businesses who make direct donations to approved Pennsylvania charities. Donors who enroll are required to commit to gifts for 2 consecutive years in order to receive tax credits equal to 90% of the donation.
To participate, Pennsylvania’s EITC law requires that a participating individual contributes to a Special Purpose Entity (“SPE”). The SPE then distributes the funds to the charity of the participant’s choice. 12 Plus has partnered with Friends of Education LLC to facilitate this process.
