12 Plus was built on the philosophy of meeting students where they’re at, both in their postsecondary journey and quite literally.
We employ an in-school, whole-school service model.
Our full time staff work in the schools our students attend, from before the first bell through the end of the day. We’re able to do this because of our PLUS Centers— multifunctional hubs for student advising, info workshops, and community building. No matter your path, everyone is welcome at 12 Plus.

Why it matters
PLUS Centers are at the core of our mission. They are dedicated spaces for postsecondary planning and student support.
Our doors remain open, meaning that no matter when a student is ready, there will always be someone from 12 Plus ready to help them.
Our Centers are anchors, connecting students with not only their personal advisors but also other community partners, postsecondary institutions, and our Alumni Support team!
1-on-1 Advising.
Personalized Postsecondary Pathways
We recognize that every student has unique goals, needs, and journeys ahead. That’s why we pair each 12 Plus senior with an individual advisor to help chart that path.
Seniors will meet with their advisors over a dozen times before graduating. Together, they tackle obstacles ranging from complex applications to financial aid shortfalls. No matter the twists and turns, our teams are there every step of the way.
Whether it’s college, trade apprenticeship, technical certification, or something else entirely, 12 Plus is there to help every student discover and pursue their own postsecondary path.

Helping build our communities
This work is not done alone. We are part of an incredible network of educators, counselors, service providers, and institutional partners all working together to bring our students the information and resources they deserve.
To help reach every corner of our schools, we host group workshops, off-campus field trips, and school-wide events. These large scale endeavors connect students with volunteers, employers, and one another.
